MCC silence-period gating
When the Election Commission's Model Code of Conduct silence period is active, campaign-content generation is disabled server-side — not just hidden in the UI. The platform falls back to read-only monitoring automatically.
ECI AI-content labeling
Every AI-generated briefing or summary carries a visible label with the generator name and model, per the ECI's October 2025 advisory — recorded to an immutable content-label log, not just a footer disclaimer.
Legal-clearance gate per connector
A data connector cannot be switched to production without an authorized admin recording the ToS terms it operates under. This is enforced at the API layer — attempting to bypass it via a raw request is rejected, not just discouraged.
Restricted tier with mandatory justification
Individual-level data (author handles, not public candidates) sits behind a Restricted tier. Every access requires a free-text purpose, logged with user ID and timestamp to an audit trail — enforced in the API, not just documented policy.
DPDP 2023 consent logging
Named-individual profiling is logged with subject type, purpose, and source. Data retention defaults to the minimum necessary and is configurable per jurisdiction.
Confidence, never certainty
Inferred geography and bot-suspicion scores are always shown with a confidence value and stay visible rather than being silently excluded — analysts retain judgment over every flagged item.
What we won't do
